Macy Dawn Loveless (Mountain Grove)'s Obituary
Macy Dawn Loveless, daughter of Brad Loveless and Holly Whanger Yarber, was born September 2, 2002, in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She departed this life Thursday, September 24, 2015, in the University of Missouri Women’s and Children’s Hospital, in Columbia, Missouri, at the age of thirteen years, and twenty-two days.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Max Yarber; and an aunt, Jennifer Alexander.
Macy is survived by her mother, Holly Yarber, and her husband, Wayco, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; her father, Brad Loveless, and his wife, Bridgett, of Denlow, Missouri; a brother, Myson Loveless, of Denlow, Missouri; a sister, Aaliyah Irby, of Denlow, Missouri; her maternal grandparents, Kim Whanger, and Jerry Crotts, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and Charlie Whanger, and Nicki, of Vanzant, Missouri; her paternal grandparents, Gary Loveless, of Cabool, Missouri, and Bill and Norma Jarrett, of Vanzant, Missouri; her grandparents, Rusty and Lena Ingram, Wade Yarber, and Ron and Lois Putt; a great-grandmother, Amy Collins; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Mountain Grove area and was currently attending Mountain Grove Middle School.
Macy had been actively involved in both Prior Freewill Baptist Church and Calvary Temple Church. She had taken part in the youth activities and enjoyed the fellowship both churches offered. Whether through sharing her personal spiritual testimony with others or facing her courageous battle with cancer, Macy held tight to her faith. On September 21, 2015, Macy was baptized in the hospital and was able to fulfill one of her last wishes.
In her spare time she enjoyed playing softball, dancing and doing art projects. Her family was very important to her and she enjoyed spending fun evenings and great weekends with them.
Macy was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, niece, and was a typical friendly teenager. Her family will cling tightly to the wonderful memories and feel blessed to have had her in their lives for these precious years.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Macy Loveless Memorial.
