Madeleine Gann's Obituary
Nina Madeleine Gann, daughter of Galey and Ethel Wyatt Gann, was born June 12, 1928, near Conway, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, January 16, 2010, in St. John’s Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of eighty-one years, seven months, and four days. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Paul and Vernard Gann. Madeleine is survived by a sister, Enola Clinkenbeard, of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was raised in the Phillipsburg community, and then lived most her adult years in Lebanon. In addition to being a homemaker and helping care for her parents, she worked as a sales clerk at Crossroads Hallmark Store in downtown Lebanon for a number of years. Madeleine had made her profession of faith in Christ at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lebanon. In her spare time she enjoyed working in her garden, where she especially grew beautiful flowers, doing crossword puzzles, and visiting with her family and friends. Her favorite hobby was fishing with her brother, Vernard, and doing oil paintings. Madeleine will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Graveside services and Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday January 20, 2010 at the Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home Lebanon, Missouri. Return to top
