Maggie was one of nine children and attended Flatwoods and Mulligan Schools with her brothers and sisters. She had many fond memories of the Flatwoods and Bennett Spring areas and enjoyed being part of a big family. Being born during the Great Depression and growing up during World War II, she learned many valuable life lessons and the meaning of sacrifice.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews that she loved very much and a brother-in-law, Tommy McCormick and his wife Kelly of Lebanon, Missouri. Her life revolved around her family and she enjoyed the times they could spend together, making wonderful memories.
Maggie enjoyed dancing, traveling, being with her friends and doing puzzles. She liked to laugh and was a joy to be with. In her later years, she liked a good game of Bingo.
