Marcus Wayne Caudle (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Marcus Wayne Caudle, son of Clyde and Louise Myers Caudle, was born August 1, 1943, near Winnepeg, Missouri. He departed this life Thursday, November 23, 2017, in Cox South Medical Center, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 74 years, three months, and twenty-two days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother, Charles Caudle; and three sisters, Karen Sullivan, Carol Stevens and Nicole Caudle.
Marcus is survived by a daughter, Shelly Neugebauer, and her husband, Mark, of Harrisburg, Arkansas; two sons, Troy Caudle, and his wife Jennifer, and Michael Caudle, and his wife, Alisha, all of Kansas City, Kansas; seven grandchildren; Zach, Lyndsi, Emily, Mason, Gavin, Riley, and Berkley; two great-grandchildren, Lyla and Laklan; three brothers, Jimmy Caudle, and his wife Brenda, of Kansas City, Kansas, Mike Caudle, and his wife, Kathleen, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Danny Caudle, and his wife, Diane, of Cuba, Missouri; five sisters, Darlene Mask, of Lebanon, Missouri, Judy Cotrell, and her husband Sonny, of Kansas City, Missouri, Kathy Toops, and her husband, Dennis, of Lebanon, Missouri, Glenda Willis, and her husband, Rick, of Strafford, Missouri, and Phyllis Wilson, and her husband, Dee, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother-in-law, Buddy Sullivan, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He grew up in the Competition community and later graduated from Plato High School. He worked as a Union Carpenter in Kansas City for many years and belonged to the Carpenters Union #1127. He moved to the Lebanon area in 2013 after a lifetime of hard work.
Marcus enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking care of his chickens and his turkey named Tom. He greatly enjoyed watching Western movies on television. He was a hard worker and a devoted father who was always willing to help others.
Marcus was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and know that his family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories he created for them during his lifetime.
