Marcus Adrian Sharp (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Marcus Adrian Sharp was born June 8, 1973, to Stanley Sharp and Beverly Jennings Sharp in Lebanon, Missouri. He passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 in Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Texas, from injuries received in an automobile accident. He was fifty years, five months and twelve days of age.
He grew up on the Sharp Family Farm in Conway, Missouri and graduated from Conway High School. Following graduation, he continued to live in Conway and was involved with Sharp Trucking Company as an owner/operator. He also became a heavy equipment operator and was with Capital Paving and Excavation near Clarksville, Texas. He was a hard worker and was proud of what he did and the projects he completed.
He is survived by his significant other, Lisa Owens of Seymour, Missouri; three sons, Grant Sharp and his wife, Morgan of Lebanon, Missouri, Jim Sharp and his wife, Kelsey of Mountain Grove, Missouri and Keaton Owens and his wife Emily of Seymour, Missouri; one daughter, Jozey Sharp of Mountain Grove, Missouri; three grandchildren, Cora, Cain and Crew; his mother, Beverly Sharp of Lebanon, Missouri; one sister, Monica Caudle and her husband, Brad of Conway, Missouri; and Lisa’s parents, Steve and Judy Potter of Mountain Grove, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Sharp; his maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Wilma Green; and his paternal grandparents, Allen and Jean Sharp.
Marcus loved his family very much. He had a good sense of humor and enjoyed the moments he could spend with his children and grandchildren. His grandchildren brought him so much joy.
In his spare time, he enjoyed going to tractor pulls, playing baseball and taking road trips. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help others. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs football fan and enjoyed watching them play and cheering them on.
His love and loyalty he had for his family and friends will be forever etched on the hearts of those he touched.
A celebration of Life Service for Marcus A. Sharp will be Monday, November 27, 2023 at 6 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon, Missouri with Rev. Mike Moore officiating. A memorial has been established to The American Cancer Society and donations may be made through the funeral home.
