Margaret Agnes Biggs (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Margaret Agnes Biggs, daughter of Harry J. and Alta G. Ivey Caufield, was born September 16, 1932, near Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Thursday, August 23, 2012, in Christian Health Care North, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-nine years, eleven months, and seven days.
On September 17, 1948, she was united in marriage to Charles Dale Biggs, and to this union two daughters and one son were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale, on March 23, 1988; two brothers, Jerome Caufield, and an infant, Joseph; and two sisters, Kathryn Alexander, and an infant, Mary.
Margaret is survived by two daughters, Donna Admire, and her husband, Paul, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Phyllis Biggs, and her husband, Bob, of Pleasant Valley, Missouri; a son, Mike Biggs, and his wife, Andrea, of Olathe, Kansas; nine grandchildren, Jordan, Jake, and Kendall Biggs, Alexis and Abby Abrams, Scott Admire, and his wife, Becky, Craig Admire, and his wife, Lori, Matt Biggs, and his wife, Hollie, and Missy Heilig, and her husband, Rob; seven great-grandchildren, Lorin Admire, Lindsey Brown, Mark and Lucus Heilig, Brooklynn, Dyllynn,, and Mallie Biggs; two brothers, Gene Caufield, and his wife, Bessie, and Jim Caufield, all of Marshfield, Missouri; three sisters, Ann Timmerman, and her husband, Bob, of Lebanon, Missouri, Janice Alexander, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Carol Smith, and her husband, Gary, of Springfield, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Lebanon area, and worked at the IGA Grocery Store when she was in her teenage years. After she and Dale were married, they made their home in Kansas City, Missouri, for forty years. In addition to being a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, Margaret also worked at a Wal Mart Store for several years. Later, after Margaret and Dale retired, they moved to back to Lebanon.
Margaret followed the Baptist faith throughout her life.
In her spare time she enjoyed traveling and listening to country and gospel music. She loved watching birds, and feeding and caring for them, particularly her favorite Cardinals. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
