Margaret Carter (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Margaret “Peggy” Louise Carter, age 82, of Pleasant Hope, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Citizen’s Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri.
She was born January 23, 1928 in New Kengsington, Pennsylvania to James Gibbs and Margaret (Pritt) Gibbs.
Margaret married Cecil C. Carter in 1946. He preceded her in death on November 29, 1998.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Fundamental Baptist Church of Pleasant Hope, Missouri and the Pleasant Hope Community Food Pantry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cecil C. Carter, and a sister, Betty Jane Anderson.
Margaret is survived by her daughter and caregivers of 9 years, Gwen Parker and her companion James “Red” Pendergrass both of Pleasant Hope, Missouri, a son, Jim Carter and his wife Janet of Strafford, Missouri, two sisters, Dorothy Ann Anderson of Florida, Aggie Myers of Washington, three grandchildren, Kim Stevens, Casey Platt and her husband Sam, Josh Stephenson and his wife Carrie, three great grandchildren, Austin Oliver, Shandy Oliver and Aya Stephenson.
