Margaret A. Dehne (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Margaret Dehne was born June 28, 1931 to Peter and Margaret (Schules) Porten and raised in Portens subdivision in McHenry, IL. She passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri at the age of 90. She was a school bus driver for 25 years. Margaret enjoyed the outdoors and bird watching. She liked playing cards, putting puzzles together, and going to play bingo. She also enjoyed watching football.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Margaret Porten of McHenry, IL. Sister Katherine Baird and husband George of McHenry, IL. Brothers Walter Porten, Peter Porten and wife Ruth, Raymond Porten and wife Judy of McHenry, IL. Along with sister Alice Dehne of McHenry, IL. Margaret is survived by her sister Eileen Wood and husband Chuck of McHenry, IL. Brother Earl Porten and wife Betty of Wauconda, IL; daughters Joan Pitts and husband Harry of Pittsburg, MO; Margie Sinden and husband Glen of Round Lake, IL. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Cremation rites are being accorded by the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo, Missouri.
