Margaret I. (Randolph) Ellis' Obituary
Margaret Inez Ellis, daughter of Robert Allen and Betty Rae Caffey Randolph, was born December 23, 1946, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Monday, November 27, 2006, in Strafford, Missouri, at the age of fifty-nine years, eleven months, and four days. She was preceded in death by her father. Margaret is survived by her mother, Betty Randolph, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother, Lowell “Lucky” Randolph, and his wife, Mary, of Keller, Texas; a sister, Rita Reeder, and her husband, Uless, of Columbia, Missouri; a niece, Messina Cox, and her husband, Tom; three nephews, James Randolph, and his wife, Mandy, Joe Reeder and Curtis Reeder; a great-nephew, Robert Cox; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born and raised in Lebanon, Missouri, graduating from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1964. In 1965, she was appointed to the C.I.A. and served in Beirut, Lebanon. After returning to the states, Margaret lived in Missouri for fifteen years where she worked as a meeting planner at the University of Missouri. She then moved to Colorado where she was a credit reporter for Equifax. She also lived in the States of Washington and Idaho where she worked as a computer technician. In 2004, she moved back to Lebanon, Missouri and made her home. Margaret was a member of the Phillipsburg Christian Church in Phillipsburg, Missouri. In her spare time she enjoyed playing the games of Chicken Foot and Dominos. She also enjoyed membership in the Red Hat Society. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed her niece and nephews. Margaret was a loving daughter, sister and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and fri Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 30, 2006, in the Phillipsburg Christian Church. Burial will be in the Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 7 - 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
