Maria Vanderputten (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Maria Vanderputten, age 80, of Fair Play, Missouri, passed away on Friday morning, July 29, 2016, at Citizens Memorial Hospital, in Bolivar.
Maria was born in Arnhem, Belgium in 1935. Without serving in any official role, she did her part in helping the Allied Forces during the war. In 1957, she was married in Ontario and then moved to the United States. She spent her life as a devoted homemaker and devout member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Maria is survived by her children; John Vanderputten, Gino Vanderputten, Joseph Vanderputten, Vincent Vanderputten, Father Benedict Vanderputten, Dominic Vanderputten, Fran Vanderputten, Chris Vanderputten, Father Angelo Vanderputten, Damien Vanderputten, Maria Matties, Anna Ceeley, Shalom Vanderputten (Sister Mary Hosanna), and well over 100 grandchildren, as well as a number of great-grandchildren.
She will be laid to rest with her husband in St. Mary's, KS.
