Marianne was a member of our Crocker, MO Green Thumb Garden Club. She enjoyed attending the meetings and was dedicated to pruning & tending a flower bed in the town's Frisco Park. Her & her counterpart, Debbie, were constant in keeping the rose bushes and stella doras in shape, not an easy task.

Marianne also enjoyed reading and sharing her book interest with the reading group that formed shortly before she departed from Crocker.

We were sorry to see her depart from our community yet thankful she would be residing with her family and enjoying attending the sports games her grandchilden were involved in. We were blessed in having her in our lives.

I had the pleasure of working with Marianne for several years in both Labor & Delivery and adolescent psych. There was nothing better than her smile when she came in with her vase full of zinnias that had bloomed so pretty. She loved to share them with us. When we worked the night shift and things were calm, she would get so excited if she was able to look up her genealogy stuff. She would laugh out loud and say “this is what I found tonight! Isn’t it fantastic?!” Marion and Don raised a house full of wonderful kids. we were all updated frequently on their adventures. Marianne will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Family please hold your father close, he and your mother had a wonderful love for each other, and I’m sure he will feel an emptiness that’s greater than he can tell you.
