Marie Ames (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Marie Susan Ames was born May 30, 1952 in Illinois to Ben and Betty Ames. She passed away Monday, January 5, 2026 in Lebanon South Nursing and Rehab in Lebanon, Missouri. She was seventy-three years, seven months and four days of age.
Marie moved with her family to Galina, Missouri when she was very young. She graduated from Galena High School.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Betty Ames.
Marie is survived by her children, Carri Gregory, Joe Cutbirth, Mike Cutbirth, Cory Rohlman and Tina Cutbirth.
Marie enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom. She loved her family so very much.
She enjoyed listening to Bro. Charlie Newell while she was a resident at Lebanon South Nursing Home. She was an avid reader and also liked fishing and listening to country music. One of her unique hobbies was collecting buttons.
Her loss is deeply felt by her family and she will be so missed. We know that she lives on in them, in their memories, and in their love for each other.
