Marie McCracken (Humansville)'s Obituary
Marie E. McCracken, age 96, of Flemington, passed away Monday morning, April 18, 2016, at Big Spring Care Center, in Humansville, Missouri.
Marie E. the daughter of William Edgar and Alphia Ragsdale Austin was born October 2, 1919 in Johnson City, Kansas. The family moved back to Halfway, MO, when she was four years old, where her parents were raised. She received her schooling at Halfway where she graduated in 1937. She accepted Christ as her savior when she was 16 years of age and joined the Halfway Baptist Church. The family moved to Humansville May 11, 1937 where they were active in the Baptist Church. She later moved her membership to Rondo Baptist Church where she is still a member.
Marie was married to Glenn McCracken on March 12, 1941 to this union was born three children. Allan, Roberta and Charles. She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, three brothers, and beloved husband Glenn. Survivors include her three children, Allan and wife Joyce, Springfield, MO, Roberta, Flemington, MO and Charles and wife Jessie, Springfield, MO; ten grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one brother in law, Oliver McCracken, of Sarasota, FL; two sisters-in-law, Mildred Renshaw, of Ash Grove, MO, and Marine Turner, of Great Falls, VA, along with many nieces and nephews.
