Marie received Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of thirteen, and attended the Porter Chapel for many years. After moving into Lebanon, she became a member of the Oasis Worship Center. At the age of six, Marie had an angel, who was sent by the Holy Spirit, appear to her and he told her that he would always be with her and take care of her. Amidst all the test and trials, ups and downs, living for the Lord was the greatest part of her life.
In her spare time she enjoyed doing embroidery projects and preparing special meals for her family. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Marie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a kind and caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that she has been a living testimony of Christ to all that knew and loved her.
