Marilyn Albin (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Marilyn Jean Albin, 67, passed away November 15, 2022 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
She was the widow of Roy Albin. They shared twenty-six years together. Marilyn was saved at Mt. Gilead Church in 1967.
Marilyn was born on September 13, 1955 in Springfield, Missouri to Robert and Marjorie Fullerton. She attended Bolivar High School, graduating in 1973. After high school she attended Southwest Missouri State University, graduating in 1978 with a Bachelor's in Art Education. She was employed at Bolivar Farmer's Exchange as a book keeper for thirty-four years.
Marilyn had an eye for decorating, flower arranging, and art. Growing up on a dairy farm, she enjoyed the country life and nature. Many afternoons she could be found sitting in her rocking chair watching and feeding the birds.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Marjorie Fullerton, her husband, Roy Albin, daughter, Macy McDaniel, and brother-in-law, Cling McAllister.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter Kelsey Albin and boyfriend Josh Rushing, twin sister, Carolyn McAllister, son, Andy Albin and wife Elizabeth, and granddaughter , Mary Ann Brazzell.
Services for Marilyn will be at 1 PM Tuesday, November 22 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar.
