Marilyn Huhn (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Marilyn Jeannette Huhn, daughter of Albert Lee and Mildred Amelia Hopper Davis, was born, October 9, 1930 in Santa Anna, California. She departed this life, Wednesday, June 6, 2012, in Windsor Estates Care Center, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of eighty-one years, seven months and twenty-eight days.
On June 22, 1966 in Santa Ana, California, she was united in marriage to Clarence Richard Huhn. Together they shared forty-four years of marriage before his passing on January 18, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents
Survivors include four children, Kathleen Sonora and husband Nick of Camdenton, Missouri, Raelene Walker and husband Jay of Camdenton, Missouri, Richard Huhn and wife Kim of San Antonio, Texas and Pamela Jones and husband Jim of Alma, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Christopher Miller of Corona, California and Ariana Davis of Derby, Kansas and others; numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Beverly Harrison of Sun City, California and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Marilyn was raised in Santa Anna, California and graduated from Garden Grove High School in the class of 1948. She attended college at Orange Coast Community College in Costa Mesa, California. She cared for her own children as well as other children throughout the years. She moved to Lake of the Ozarks in 1992.
In her spare time she enjoyed reading, gardening and painting. She studied Biblical Archeology. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
