Marilynn M. Root (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Marilynn Root, age 78, of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday morning, June 25, 2014 at her home in Bolivar.
She was born on March 22, 1936 in Polk County, Missouri, the daughter of Clarence Leonard Boyd and Leta Avis (Gulick) Boyd.
Marilynn was united in marriage to William "Bill" Root on June 30, 1954. To this union one son was born, James Dean "Jim" Root.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Avis; her husband, Bill; and her sister, Charlene; and one great-grandson, Dalton Cooper.
She is survived by her son, Jim Root and his wife Viola of Bolivar; 3 grandsons, Allen Root and his wife Kim of Halfway, Missouri, Alex Cooper and his wife Laura of Ft. Riley, Kansas, and William Cooper and his wife Tara of Conroe, Texas; 9 great-grandchildren; and one brother; Bill Boyd and his wife Marsha of Val Rico, Florida.
