Marjorie Blackburn (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Marjorie Roveda Blackburn was born August 23, 1940, the daughter of William Obie Hudson and Vada Merle Storm Hudson. She departed his life Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Lebanon North Nursing and Rehab at the age of eighty-four years, one month and twenty-seven days.
She was born in Golden City, Missouri and moved with her family to Lebanon, Missouri when she was young. She attended Lebanon Schools. She was united in marriage to Marion John Blackburn.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Vada Hudson; her husband Marion “Jack” Blackburn; her daughter, Treva Ulrich; her brothers, Clyde Hudson, Murrel Hudson, Oscar Hudson and infant twin brothers, Vern and Vernon; and a great-great-grandson, Oliver Garton.
She is survived by her children, Jackie Williams and his wife Connie, Geneva Reynolds and her husband Jack and Alice Myers and her husband Junior, all of Lebanon, Missouri; her step-children, Rosie Eady, Judy Massey, Donna Fuerstenberg and Donnie Blackburn; three brothers, Jimmy Hudson and his wife Diana, Rubben Hudson and his wife Rebecca, Jerry Hudson and his wife Donna; her sister, Wilma Blackburn; two sisters-in-law, Linda Hudson and Wilma Hudson; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Marjorie had a deep love for her Lord. She was saved at an early age.
She enjoyed sewing and making quilts for her family. She was very talented and her family will certainly treasure these quilts for years to come.
Her loss is deeply felt by her family, and she will be so missed. Yet, we know that she lives on in them, in their memories, and in their love for each other.
