Marjorie Broderson (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Marjorie Patricia Regan Broderson, 96, of Bolivar, MO, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Citizens Memorial Care Facility in Bolivar, MO.
Marjorie was born December 18, 1921 in Vancouver, BC to Patrick and Lavinia Hearst Regan. She met the love of her life, a U.S. sailor named Stanley Broderson while pursuing a career in dance. The two were united in marriage on June 3, 1944.
Marjorie and Stanly would live most of their lives travelling do to Stanley’s work for Boeing, inspecting missile silos. The two would settle down in the Versailles, Mo. and finally move to Bolivar in their later years. Marjorie enjoyed her life, raising the couple’s three daughters, Carol, June and Lori. Marjorie cared very deeply for her family as well as for the many pets she would have through the years. She leaves behind a legacy of love and care.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Broderson, as well as her son-in-law, Robert Borberg.
She is survived by her three daughters, Carol Borberg, June Broderson, and Lori Stanek and husband Victor. As well as her grandchildren; Bob Borberg and wife Nancy & family, David Borberg and wife Alison & family, Justin Stanek, Megan Stanek Price and husband Mason. They also had 5 great-grandchildren.
Private family services are being held under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home.
