Marjorie J. Brummell (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Mrs. Marjorie Jeanette (Tucker) Brummell, age 95 of Bolivar, Missouri passed away at 6:55am on Thursday morning, March 22, 2012 at Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility in Stockton, Missouri. Marjorie or Margie as she was called lived a long and happy life.
She was born June 9, 1916 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of Samuel L. Tucker and Ida Belle (Holcumbrink) Tucker.
Marjorie attended High School in Troy, Missouri where she met the love of her life, Kenneth E. Brummell. They married shortly after High School in Whiteside, Missouri on April 17, 1938 and spent many happy years together until Kenneth passed away on April 15, 1997.
Margie was a homemaker and was a member of the First Christian Church in Bolivar, Missouri. She was active in the Christian Womens Fellowship, Facts and Fiction Club, and had many other interests and activities. Most of all her family was her life.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Nita Winfrey, and a brother, Rowland Tucker.
Margie is survived by her daughter; Kay Jobe and her husband Darian, their children Robin Hall and her husband Brian and Randa Cowan. A daughter; Kathy Avery and her daughter Connie Johnston. One son; Kent Brummell and his wife Deeva, their children Kelly Hagar and her husband Mike, Jason Brummell and his wife Trish. Ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
