Mark Alan Mason (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Mark Alan Mason, son of Raymond and Betty Buser Mason, was born June 1, 1966, in Muscatine, Iowa. He departed this life Friday, May 15, 2020, in his home, near Phillipsburg, Missouri, at the age of fifty-three years, eleven months, and fourteen days.
He was preceded in death by his mother; a brother, Raymond; and two sisters, Anita and Judy.
Mark is survived by his father and step-mother, Raymond and Bonnie Mason, of Phillipsburg, Missouri; two sisters, Betty Anderson, and her husband, Donald, and Diane Elder, and her husband, Jeff, all of Muscatine, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in Muscatine, Iowa, and then moved with his family to Lebanon, Missouri, where he graduated from Lebanon High School. During most of his life he worked as a carpenter and painter.
In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were fishing, hunting, working in his yard, and growing beautiful flowers. His family was very important to him and he always enjoyed time spent with his father, sisters, and nieces and nephews.
Mark was a loving son, brother, uncle, and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
