Mark R. Steinbruegge (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Mark Roland Steinbruegge, son of Ralph R. and Mary Lou Stephens Steinbruegge, was born October 20, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri. He departed this life Tuesday, November 3, 2020, in his home in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-four years, and fourteen days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Patricia Steinbruegge.
Mark is survived by three sons, Eric Steinbruegge, of Lebanon, Missouri, Scott Steinbruegge, of Troy, Missouri and Keith Steinbruegge, and his wife, Sarah, of St. Louis, Missouri; a step-daughter, Terri “Tara” Flynn, of Lebanon, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Lillyanne, Alyssa, Karissa, Dayd, Lexie, Kaylie, Kamryn, Zoe, Jack and Riley; two brothers, Dale Steinbruegge, and his wife, Diane, of St. Charles, Missouri, and Stephen Steinbruegge, and his wife, Tania, of Duncanville, Texas; a sister, Penny Harford, of Clarksville, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, where he graduated from high school. He entered the military as a young man and served his country faithfully in the United States Marine Corps for several years. He then returned to St. Louis for a time before moving to Dixon and then Lebanon. He worked as a truck driver and mechanic and also owned and operated a dairy farm for several years.
In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors where he liked to camp and fish. He also enjoyed playing video games and liked watching movies on Netflix and Vudu. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Mark was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories he made for them during his lifetime.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 A.M., Nov. 10, 2020 with full military honors at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri with Rev. Marsha Vincent officiating.
