Mark Tittle's Obituary
Mark Alan Tittle, son of Homer Leroy and Audrey Maxine (Prunty) Tittle, was born February 21, 1961, in Independence, Missouri. He departed this life Wednesday, November 17, 2010, in St. John’s Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of forty-nine years, eight months and twenty-six days.
He was preceded in death by his father, his step-father, Clarence Godman; and his sister Beverly Jean Moore.
Mark is survived by his mother, Audrey Godman, of Hartville, Missouri; three brothers, Michael Tittle and Darrell Tittle and his wife, Edin, all of Hartville, Missouri, and Carl Godman and his wife, Angkana, of Melburn, Florida; four sisters, Barbara Pfaffly and her husband, Pete, of Kansas City, Missouri, Patricia Godman, of Atlanta, Georgia, Diane Lawler and her husband, Rodney, of Fredonia, Kansas, and Sherry Conner, of Paola, Kansas; a number of nieces and nephews, including Cynthia Haro, and her husband, Michael, who was like a sister to him; great nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relative and friends.
Born in Independence and at the age of four the family moved to South Greenfield near Springfield, where he was reared. He later entered the United States Navy. He returned back to the Springfield area and moved to Hartville seven years ago.
Mark had professed his faith in Jesus Christ and had been baptized as a young boy. His family was very important to him and his protective and attentive spirit for his Mom was so evident. He loved spending time with the kids being outdoors, traveling, hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed gardening and was a wonderful food planner and cook trying to emulate the chefs on tv.
Mark was a loving son and brother; a cherished uncle; and was a caring neighbor and friend. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed, but will live on in our hearts forever.
