Marlin Clair Lincoln (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Marlin Lincoln passed away peacefully at Lake Stockton Healthcare facility on August 27, 2024.
he was born in Arlington, Iowa on May 3, 1932 and graduated Arlington High School. He was united in marriage to Helen Lincoln on October 28, 1951 celebrating 65 years of marriage.
He worked for the Chicago Great Western as Auditor of Revenues and then for Kansas City Southern Railroad, retiring as Assistant Vice President. After retirement they moved to Wheatland, MO and enjoyed hosting family and friends at the lake.
He grew up on a farm and loved, collected, and restored tractors, partial to John Deere, but had a couple Farmalls. He was always outside and mowing, worked crosswords, and loved food. Family was his highest priority and loved spending time with them.
He is survived by a daughter, Cindy (Bob) Hill of Flemington, MO; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Helen, sons; Tim and Dennis, daughter, Denise, and daughter-in-law, Mindy, and his parents, Frank and Nellie Lincoln.
Services for Marlin will be Thursday, August 29, 2024 starting at 10:30 AM at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar. Visitation for Marlin will start at 10:00 AM.
