Marline Eugene Wymore (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Marline E. Wymore was born September 22, 1934 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Harold and Florence Benson McCoy. She departed this life Sunday, February 8, 2026 in Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri. She was ninety-one years, four months and seventeen days of age.
Marline grew up in Iowa and attended school there. On August 25, 1951, she was united in marriage to Gilbert Carroll Wymore. They shared over fifty-five years together, traveling to many locations with Gilbert’s military service and raising their children.
Marline is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gilbert; her parents, Harold and Florence McCoy; her son, Darrell Wymore; her grandson, William Dawson; and her sister, Donna McCoy.
She is survived by her children, Robecca Dawson and her husband William, Carol Miller and her husband Lawrence, Sherry Cheney and her husband Jeffrey, Regina Poland and her husband William, Loretta Compton and her husband Rodney, and Clayton Wymore; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
For over thirty years, Marline has lived in Missouri and operated a daycare for many area babies and children. She was also employed at Larson Daycare for many years. She loved children and enjoyed her time with them, teaching them and watching them grow and learn.
Marline followed the Pentecostal faith and loved God.
Marline enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren. She also liked animals and making quilts. She looked forward to warm weather when she could be outside working in her flower and vegetable garden.
Marline was a trusted and caring friend. Her loss is deeply felt by her family, and she will be so missed. We know that she loves on in them, in their memories, and in their love for each other.
