Marsha Ann Glenn (Seymour)'s Obituary
Marsha Ann Glenn (Woods) passed away unexpectedly in her home after a short illness on October 30 2020. Marsha did not pass alone, she was surrounded by numerous family friends and her beloved husband Lyle, of forty- two years. Marsha touched many lives and she will be sorely missed and many hearts are broken by her loss.
Marsha is survived by her husband Lyle Milton Glenn, and Cracker her beloved dog of the home, Stepmom Bonnie Woods of Fordland, Stepdad Robert Morland of Kimberling City, brothers Tommy Gene Woods and wife Brenda, Steven Woods and wife Maureen and Bobbie Woods and sister Missy Woods all of Fordland. Three very special nieces that became more like sisters, Angie Nettles, Cindy Pickett, and Amanda Medlock. Two very special cousins that many memories. was made. Many Brother and Sister Law’s she held close to her heart. Stepbrother, Matt Morland and wife Karen of Decatur Alabama. Stepsister Robin Stufflebean and husband Casey of Fordland. She was a special Memaw to Dakota Bradley of Springfield Mo and Zoe Bradley of Fordland MO. Marsha is also blessed to have a host of nieces and nephews that she loved fiercely and dearly, if you knew Marsha Glenn you knew that to be true.
Marsha is preceded in death by her parents, Tommie Woods and Charlianna Morland both maternal and paternal grandparents, Charlie and Mary Swanson, and Dee and Opal Woods.
Marsha was born on December 18 1959 in Springfield Mo. too Tommie Woods and Charlianna Swanson. She graduated from Fordland high school in 1978. She married Lyle Milton Glenn, the love of her life on June 9 1979. Lyle and Marsha spent 42 years together, they were an example of how two people in love should treat each other, and they were blessed by each other and a couple to be admired by many.
Marsha began her working career at Positronic Industries, after leaving that position, Marsha then worked for Solo Cup Companies for 28 years. The years she spent working at Solo cup Marsha made many friends and shares tons of memories with the folks she worked with. When Marsha wasn’t working she lived life to the fullest, her spare time was spent making memories with her Momma, she loved road trips with the girls, going to the beach, hot rods and mud runs, spending time with nieces and nephews (they were always up to mischief) and she was the leader, Marsha could not be outdone, she enjoyed pie throwing and was the life of the party. Marsha loved working around the house, she enjoyed mowing her yard twice a week and if she could make it twice as hard she would. Her energy was endless and she was a force to be reckoned with. No words can express the loss that Marsha’s family and friends are feeling. She will be greatly missed.
