Martha N. Morris (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Martha Nell Morris, daughter of Grover and Jimmie Lee Tompkins Morris, was born September 4, 1952, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She departed this life Sunday, January 18, 2015, in Lake Regional Hospital, in Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of sixty-two years, four months, and fourteen days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Robert Layne Morris.
Martha is survived by a daughter, Amanda Mehelich, and her husband, John, of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; two grandsons, Kevin Mehelich and Nate Mehelich, both of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born in Louisiana, and then moved with her family to Houston, Texas when she was three years old. She then lived most of her life in Houston, where she worked as a bookkeeper for a number of years. In 2007, she moved to Missouri, to be close to her daughter and grandsons.
In her spare time she enjoyed photography and sewing. She loved her family dearly and always but them foremost in her life. She especially loved her grandsons.
Martha was a loving mother, grandmother, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her sixty-two years.
