Martha Murray's Obituary
Martha was born Martha Jane Rowe on April 20, 1916, and went home to be with her Lord with grace and peace on May 15, 2009. “Nana” was a very special person and we celebrate her life and cherish the impact she has had on all of us. Martha was raised with six siblings and went to different high schools and then on the nursing school at Silver Cross Hospital where she graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1937. Her very special “patient”, “Harold”, became her husband soon after graduation. They were happily married for sixty-three years until Harold passed on in 2000. Her sixty-three married years were filled with much happiness. They had numerous longtime friends who they traveled with, on many vacations with all their children for lots of good memories. Martha was devoted to her children and grandchildren, making all things possible for them. Her whole life was in caring for others—never complaining—always satisfied. Wherever life took Martha, she always kept giving and she truly made long-lasting friendships till the day she passed on to be with her Lord. The obstacles that we must face along life’s rocky way are used by God so we might hear “Well done” from Him some day. To Mom, Nana – You will hear those words from your Lord. You do hear those words “Well done” from your beloved family. Services will be held at 6:00pm on Sunday May 17, 2009 at the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home Camdenton, Missouri. Visitation will begin at 4:00pm until time of service under the direction of the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home Camdenton, Missouri. Return to top
