Martha Hellen Nettleton (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Martha Hellen Nettleton, daughter of Edgar and Opha Eva Walker Nettleton, was born July 15, 1942 in Mtn. Grove, Missouri and departed this life on July 29, 2017 at James River Care Center in Springfield, Missouri at the age of seventy-five years and fourteen days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, John McIntyre, daughter, Martha Rollins, two brothers, Ralph and Russell Nettleton.
Hellen is survived by a son, Frank McIntyre of Springfield, Missouri; grandchildren, Frank Lee McIntyre, Tony Lewis, Michael Watson, Marice Watson, Marcus Watson and Helen McIntyre; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eva Powell of Norwood and Shirley Cockrum of Springfield; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was born in Mtn. Grove and graduated from Mtn. Grove High School in the Class of 1959.
Hellen has been attending the Church of Christ in Springfield until her health failed.
In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, crocheting and reading.
Hellen was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and will cherish the special times we had together.
