Marty R Bayes (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Marty Ray Bayes, son of Ray and Doris Fisher Bayes was born June 15, 1956 in Richmond, Indiana. He departed this life on Thursday, September 10, 2015, Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of fifty-nine years, two months and twenty-six days.
In 1978 he was married to Edna Long in Camdenton, Missouri and to this union three children were born. In 1992 he was married to Barbara Francis whom preceded him in death in 1999. In 2002 he married Ellen Minderman. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara; his father Ray Bayes; a sister, Dorena Jayne Snyder and a nephew, David Parks.
Survivors include his children Coli Creach and husband Kevin of Camdenton, Missouri; Joseph Bayes and wife Brenna Bayes of Vista, California and Desiree Wodiuk and husband Jake of Pueblo, Colorado; four grandchildren Amanda and Tristen Creach, Avery and Lucas Bayes; his mother, Doris Bayes; a brother Herbie Bayes and wife Kathy Bayes of Camdenton, Missouri; a sister Jean Matlock of Macks Creek, Missouri; a niece Shelby Bayes; a nephew Austin Bayes and his girlfriend Lois Smith of Camdenton, Missouri.
Marty spent his formative years in Phoenix, Arizona and later moved to Macks Creek, Missouri in 1968. Since 1968, he has lived either in the Camdenton or Macks Creek area. He was a certified Volvo Penta Technician. He worked around the lake area with different companies as a welder and marine technician.
In his spare time, Marty loved to fish and hunt deer. He loved spending time in his yard and tending to his gardens. Marty was a loving dad, grandpa, son, boyfriend, brother and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend.
