Mary Jewell Beason (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Jewell Beason passed away September 12, 2022 at Citizen's Memorial Healthcare Facility at the age of 100. Jewell was a lifelong resident of Polk County and was the daughter of Olen and Elsie Stewart. She was born in Halfway, MO on March 28, 1922 and married Gaylard Beason on December 2nd, 1942. They had two daughters, Beverly Grayham of Mountain Home, AR and Marilyn Brooks of Bolivar. Jewell was a housewife and a long time member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving family members include Marilyn Brooks; Grandchildren, Debbie Partee and Libby Posey of Henderson, AR and Jason Brooks of Grain Valley, MO and Stephen Brooks of Springfield, MO and their families. She will also be missed by several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A private graveside service for family will be held later in the week. She wished for memorials to be made to help children in need in the community, ozarksfoodharvest.org for the backpack program.
