Mary Jane Beaugh (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Mary Jane Beaugh, daughter of Larue C. and Hazel Dell Crossier Hicks, was born September 28, 1934, in Des Moines, Iowa. She departed this life Thursday, June 27, 2019, in Cox South Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of eighty-four years, eight months, and thirty days.
On October 20, 1951, she was united in marriage to Willie Ray Beaugh, and to this union one daughter and four sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Willie, on January 28, 2012.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Deborah McMillian and her fiance Mike Johnson, of Lebanon, Missouri. Four sons, Robert Beaugh, and his wife Jeannie, of Salina, Kansas, Mike Beaugh, and his significant other Alice Davis, of Stover, Missouri, Paul Beaugh and his wife Karen, of Columbus, Mississippi, and John Beaugh, and his significant other Blake Odell, of Kansas City, Missouri; four grandchildren, James Daugherty and his significant other Lisa Hottinger, Kaleb Beaugh, Ayla Beaugh, and Savannah Beaugh; three great-grandchildren, Conor Daugherty, Lilly Daugherty, and Mylo Beaugh; one sister, Judith Londene and her husband Fred of Huntsville, Alabama.
She was born in Des Moines, Iowa and lived several places as an “Army Brat”, even including Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. Through the years she worked as an Avon Sales Representative and as a nursing home Activities Director in Chapman Valley and Manor, Kansas.
Mary followed the Catholic faith and was a member of the St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Lebanon, Missouri.
Mary was a resident of the Terraces where she was very involved. In her spare time she loved Bingo, making crafts and gifts for Christmas, and visiting with her friends and family. She especially loved following her K State Wildcats.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
