Mary Bellinger's Obituary
Mary Pearl Bellinger, daughter of Charles and Anna Freeman, was born September 30, 1915 in Little York, Illinois. She went into Gloryland on January 15, 2008 in Mansfield, Missouri at the age of 92 years three months and fifteen days. Early in her life, she was united in marriage to Alvin Bellinger and to this union two sons and four daughters were born. Her parents, oldest brother, a sister, twin brother Earl, two grandsons and one granddaughter preceded her in death. Pearl is survived by her two sons, Lloyd Bellinger and wife Sheri of Little York, Illinois and Larry Bellinger and wife Mary of Monmouth, Illinois. Also four daughters, Louise Greer and husband Don of Adair, Illinois, Linda Thomas and husband Dick of Mansfield, Missouri, Laura Davies and husband Trevor of Little York, Illinois and Lillian Gottler and husband Bob of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, 19 grand children, 41great grand children and 9 great-great grand children as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was a devoted Christian mother raising her family and keeping the home running. In 1979 she moved to Lancaster, California to be with her daughter, Linda, where she was a Day Care cook for thirteen years at her church. Then in 1994 she moved with her daughter and husband to Mansfield, Missouri and volunteered her time at the Crisis Center and Friends In Action, Intl. for 12 years before her ‘home going’. Pearl was a hard working Christian who enjoyed her volunteer work, and taking care of neighbor and friends. She loved growing beautiful flowers and maintaining them herself. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. We celebrate her life, her accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2008, in the Mansfield First Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at the Little York Community Cemetery in Illinois.
