Susie was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed doing knitting, crocheting, and quilting. She made caps for new born infants and donated those to area hospitals. She also made bed jackets for the elderly.
She liked to go square dancing when she was younger. She was a fan of basketball but was more into the local car races. She even attended a NASCAR race with her son, Richard, while she was in her 80’s. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Susie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her ninety-one years.
