Mary F. Davolt (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Mrs. Mary Frances Davolt, age 95, long time resident of Independence, Missouri passed away on March 13th, 2016 at Monterey Park Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Independence, Missouri.
She was born January 6, 1921 at Aldrich in Polk County, Missouri to George Esley Copeland and Anna (Winslow) Copeland.
After many years of service, Mary retired from the downtown Kansas City Macy's Department Store. Among her hobbies, she loved her flowers and collecting pretty glassware. She was a long time member of Norfleet Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri.
Mary was a kind and gentle lady who loved her family and had a sweet smile for everyone. She was a devout Christian who will be missed by her family and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Raymond Davolt. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Max, Guy, and Gerald Copeland, and twin sisters Betty and Jewell Tindle. Mary is survived by a brother, Tommy Tindle and wife Bonnie of Fair Play, MO, her children: Raymond Max Davolt and his wife Joyce of Fair Play, Missouri, Leta Porter and her husband Glen of Greenwood, Missouri, James E Davolt and his wife Shelly of Independence, Missouri, eight grandchildren and numerous great and great, great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
