Mary Kay Delmain (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Mary Kay Delmain, daughter of William Clarence and Pearlie Faye Hill Poje, was born May 14, 1959, in Kansas City, Kansas. She departed this life Sunday, January 6, 2019, in her home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-nine years, seven months, and twenty-three days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Teresa Marie Allen.
Mary is survived by two daughters, Sandra McNall, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Kimberly Rainwater, and her husband, Randy, of Warrenton, Missouri; three grandchildren, Aliah, Alyssa, and Caden; a great-grandchild, Bentley; a sister, Gina Hunt, and her husband, Rick, of Ekron, Kentucky; a brother-in-law, Robert Allen, and his significant other, Carla Hall, of Phillipsburg, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Kansas and Colorado. At the age of eighteen, she entered the military and served her country faithfully in the United States Army. Upon being honorably discharged from the Army, she made her home in Texas for awhile and then moved to Missouri. She lived in Sullivan, the St. Louis area, and in Springfield before moving to Lebanon. Through the years, she was a devoted homemaker to her family and also worked for United Health Care since 2002.
Mary was raised in the Catholic church, and held tightly to her faith in God throughout the years.
She enjoyed quilting and crocheting and liked collecting frogs. She loved watching movies and would often binge watch movies on Netflix. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed having time with her great-grandson, Bentley. She also enjoyed visiting family in Kentucky and caring for her dogs. She was proud of her military service and possessed a patriotic spirit.
Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
