Mary Elizabeth Donigan, daughter of Ernest James and Jean Frances Townsend Webb, was born April 10, 1961, in Portsmouth, Virginia. She departed this life Sunday, May 1, 2016, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-five years, and twenty-one days.
On December 31, 2006, she was united in marriage to Mark Allen Donigan, and they shared the last nine years.
Her father preceded her in death.
Mary is survived by her husband, Mark, of the home; a daughter, Naomi Honaker, of Wichita Falls, Texas; a son, Johnny Bookout, of Lebanon, Missouri; four grandchildren; her mother, Jean Corrales, of Los Cruses, New Mexico; a brother, Jimmy Webb, of the State of California; as well as many other relatives and friends.
She was raised in a military family as her father was serving in the Navy, and the family lived in various locations during those years. The family lived in Wichita Falls, Texas, where Mary worked as a certified nurses aide for a few years. Later, Mary moved to Lebanon, Missouri, where she worked for Christian Health Care and Northridge Place until becoming disabled. Throughout the years, Mary was always a devoted homemaker to her husband and family.
Mary had professed her faith in Christ and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Lebanon.
She enjoyed listening to country music, dancing, and doing craft projects, particularly things with lots of colors and bead work. She also liked being outdoors and fishing whenever she could. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
