Mary Ellen Crainshaw's Obituary
Mary Ellen Crainshaw, 94, passed away, Sunday, May 14, 2006 in her home in Climax Springs, Missouri. She was born, July 17, 1911 in Purvis, Missouri the daughter of William Allen and Nancy Emma Duffer Folsom. Mary was united in marriage to Less Crainshaw on August 10, 1927 and to the union a son and two daughters were born. Mary was a homemaker and was always prepared to help anyone in need. She was a Christian and loved God with all her heart and taught her children and grandchildren to do the same. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Less; three brothers, Tom, Ed and Bill Folsom and three sisters, Lou VonCannon, Lena Malloy and Josie Mefford. Survivors include a son, Darrell S. Crainshaw and his wife Doris; two daughters, Anna Lois Crainshaw and Helen Sue Hammond; a daughter/granddaughter, Rhonda Jo Patton all of Climax Springs, Missouri; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kate Roark of Raytown, Missouri and Edna McGuire of Champaign, Illinois and a host of other relatives and many friends. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2006, in Climax Springs Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience. Services are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
