Mary Foley (Humansville)'s Obituary
Mary Francis Foley, 72, departed this life after a long struggle with cancer on November 30th at Mercy Hospital in Springfield Mo.
Mary was the daughter of John and Emma Insell, born in Kansas City Mo. She married Howard Foley on Jan 24 1965 and together they had 3 boys.
Mary was a housewife and homemaker who enjoyed cooking, quilting, fixing odd things people brought her like TVs and sewing machines. From a young age she loved her animals, having many pets throughout the years. Some of those pets included a deer she rescued, a pair of wiley ferrets, a parrot and cockatiels.
Mary was a helpful person, but she also had a sense of humor to boot....there was a slack chained slingshot of a stuck truck out of the ditch, and a fun bet she won resulting in a long-legged teenage boy having to wear a mini skirt cause he lost. She was good at the fun bets and had a knack for card games.
Mary is survived by her husband Howard, three sons, James and his wife Silli, John, and Geno and his wife Stacy. 9 grandkids, Robert, Meghan, Nadine, Brandon, Allen, Jacquelynn, Raymond, Clarence, and Wyatt. 2 brothers, Ed Insell and John Eckert.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Garnett and Sue, and brothers Bob, Chip, and Gailan.
Services for Mary are under the direction of Butler Funeral Home, Humansville. Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 PM. Funeral Services will be Tuesday Dec 4 at 1 p.m. with internment at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
