Mary E Galler (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Mary Edna Galler, daughter of Opie Jackson and Helen Schneider Miller, was born April 5, 1939, in Rector, Arkansas. She departed this life Tuesday, December 18, 2018, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of seventy-nine years, eight months, and thirteen days.
On July 17, 1982, she was united in marriage to Harvey Sandy Galler, Sr., and they shared the last thirty-six years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Steven L. Galler.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Harvey, of the home; three sons, Harvey S. Galler, Jr., of St. Louis, Missouri, Danie Lato, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Vincent Lato, of Fenton, Missouri; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in the St. Louis area and graduated from Roosevelt High School. She worked for the City of St. Louis in the traffic and lighting department for many years. She also was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family.
In her spare time she enjoyed working puzzles and going camping. She enjoyed having time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great- grandchild.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
