Mary L. Jemes (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Mary Louise Jemes, daughter of John M. and Pauline E. Krudwig Kuhn, was born June 18, 1958, in Lebanon, Missouri.  She departed this life Sunday, November 29, 2020, in Cox Medical Center South, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-two years, five months, and eleven days.
On June 3, 1978, she was united in marriage to Richard K. Jemes, and to this union one daughter and one son were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, John M. Kuhn, Jr.
Mary is survived by her husband of forty-two years, Richard, of the home; a daughter, Jessica E. Eacret, and her husband, T. J., of Conway, Missouri; a son, John C. Jemes, and his wife, Danella, of Grovespring, Missouri; three grandchildren, Ethan, Elijah, and Millie; two brothers, Danny Kuhn and Joseph Kuhn, both of Springfield, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; her mother-in-law, Ellene Jemes, of Grovespring, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Lebanon area and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1977.  She then met her future husband, Richard, while working as a hostess at Shepherd of the Hills Restaurant.  After they were married they moved to Springfield, Missouri, for ten years.  Mary was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, and also worked as a teller at Commerce Bank for a few years.  After moving back to Lebanon, Mary and Richard made their home in the Conway area, and Mary began working at Lebanon North Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  Later, she owned and operated a house  cleaning business.
Mary was raised in the Catholic faith and was an active member of St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Lebanon.
In her spare time she loved shopping, and enjoyed watching movies, as she was a big movie fan.  She greatly liked to travel and she and Richard made a momentous trip to Hawaii.  She also enjoyed water skiing and boating with her family on area lakes.  She loved her family dearly and especially liked having time with her grandchildren.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter-in-law, and a caring friend.  We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
