I was 12 years old and went to kids camp for the first time. In those days you wore dresses every day, no shorts or pants. My momma made me 5 new dresses to wear at camp. The first day you were given a project to work on. You did a little each day and then on Friday you took the finished project home. My project was a jewelry box. The camp worker handed the box to me with an open can of green paint and a paint brush. I turned and headed to the table and someone ran into me and my brand new dress was covered in green paint. I was very upset, but Sis. Waterman was right there. She took me back to the dorm, put me dress and all in the shower and got the stain out.
Plus somewhere along the way, she was beside me when I got saved at that same camp.
