Mary Leeper (Hartville)'s Obituary
Mary Alice Leeper, daughter of Monford Arnold and Madeline Tackett Forsythe, was born September 6, 1946 in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She departed this life, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 in her home, Grovespring, Missouri at the age of sixty-eight years and eight months.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Mary is survived by her husband, Don, of the home; a brother, Monty Forsythe, Jr., of West Liberty, Ohio; a sister, Martha Doak of Holly Hill, Florida; sons, Wade Hurless and wife Rhonda, of Hartville, Missouri, Douglas Wayne Marks, and James Arnold Marks, both of Hartville, Missouri; her grandchildren, Contesa, Clorisa, Colton, and Chloe Hurless; Katelynn, Shannon, Owen, and Kaylinda Marks; a great-grandson Darian Marks, and one on the way; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
Mary was born in Ohio and graduated from Lewistown High School in the Class of 1964. She moved to Missouri later in life to make her home.
Mary was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Mountain Grove, Missouri.
In her spare time, Mary loved writing poetry, listening to Elvis Presley, dancing and singing at church, painting, reading her scriptures, and doing missionary work. She also enjoyed being outdoors.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends.
