Mary Lou Lockstead (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Mary Lou Lockstead of Bolivar Missouri, passed away peacefully with loved ones at her side, at Citizens Memorial Hospital on July 30th, 2023. She went to be with her Lord at the age of 84 years old. Survived by her loving husband of 25 years, James; her brother, Bill Deeter (Marlene); nine children: Tawnda Kean (Robert), Michelle Cahow (Chad), Christopher (Sharlene),Jamie Larck, David, Kevin, Greg, Richard and Tamara; grandchildren, Kya Jenkins (Zach), Myriah Dickerson, Katlyn Larck, Kaleb Larck, Bekah Wintjen (DJ), Mitchell Brandenburg, Cody Burrow, Gabe Brandenburg, Jacob Brandenburg, Kipper Brandenburg, Aleah Brandenburg; Great grandchildren, Esther, Elliott, Amelia, Ella, Lincoln, Opal and a great grand daughter on the way, Lilian; as well as several nieces, nephews and many other loved ones.
Preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Vivian Ingalls and Patricia Oulette.
She enjoyed playing Bingo, Dominoes, being The Prices Right’s biggest fan, never missing an episode! One of her most loving attributes was never forgetting a birthday and sending a card. She served the Lord in many ways; running a bus ministry, teaching, VBS, youth groups loving on people and volunteering at the Tremain House. Since November of 2022 she lived at Parkview Healthcare Facility where she enjoyed the daily activities, her friends and lived life to the fullest. She was witty, funny, feisty and a firecracker.
