Mary L. Martin (Humansville)'s Obituary
Mary Louise Shaw was born August 25, 1943 at home in Humansville, MO to Theodore and Frances (Ream) Shaw. She passed away in her home on February 13, 2019.
Mary graduated from Humansville Public School. Mary attended college at Missouri State University and after a few interruptions from life graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics.
Mary was united in marriage to Freddie Allen Martin on September 14, 1964 in Humansville, MO. They had two children Dana Shawn and David Allen Martin.
Mary was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. She served the church in many ways but mostly remembered as the pianist. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and shopping for deals with friends and family. Mary often said "I'd rather mow the yard than clean the house." One of her newest hobbies was learning Spanish. She took great pride in helping run the family farm. Mary had quite a sense of humor. She was straight to the point when communicating with people. She found great joy in the little things in life. Mary lived life to the fullest.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Frances Shaw.
Mary is survived by her husband Freddie; daughter, Dana Ester and husband Mark; son, David Martin and wife Alana; grandchildren John and Mia. She is survived by her sister Miriam Thompson; nephews Dr. Jeff Thompson and wife Grace; Drs. Doug and Kelly Thompson.
