Mary E Mast (Hartville)'s Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Mast, daughter of Levi and Ella (Troyer) Miller was born February 16, 1945 in Goshen, Indiana and she departed this life on July 6, 2021, at Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mountain Grove, Missouri at the age of seventy-six years, four months and twenty days.
On November 14, 1962, Mary was united in marriage to Ervin Mast and to this union three children were born and he preceded her in death on June 10, 2006. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a son, Scott Anthony Mast, two brothers, Alva Ray Miller and Vernon Miller and a sister Wilma Louise Mast.
Survivors include her children, Brian Mast of California, Missouri and Debbie Johnson and her husband Lance of Grovespring, Missouri; two grandchildren, Blake Anthony Johnson and his wife Bethany and Kaleb Scott Johnson, two brothers, Orva Lee Miller of LaGrange, Indiana and Levi Miller, Jr. of Colorado, a sister Ruby Marie Stutzman of Nappanee, Indiana, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Indiana where she met and married Ervin. In 1974 they moved to White Pigeon, Michigan for a few years. In 1977 the family moved to the Oden community of Wright County and later moved to the farm near Grovespring, where they resided for the rest of their lives.
Mary was a member of the Shaddy Chapel Church of Christ. She enjoyed sewing, tending to her flowers, writing and receiving letters.
