Mary Katherine Masur (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Mary Kathryn Masur, age 97 of Bolivar, MO passed away Saturday evening January 25, 2014 at Parkview Health Care Facility in Bolivar, MO. She was born on December 19, 1916 in Chillicothe, MO. The daughter of Roy and Ortie (Hoffman) Hartensteine.
Kathryn worked for many years as a secretary at General Mills in Kansas City, MO. She moved to Pittsburg, MO in 1966 and in 1988 she was united in marriage to Louis Masur. Kathryn and Louis moved to Bolivar in 2000 and were members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bolivar. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and her dachshund “Tess”.
Kathryn was preceded in death by, her husband; Louis Masur, and her parents; Roy and Ortie Hartensteine.
Kathryn is survived by, one sister; Susan Johnson of Bolivar, MO; step-son Dennis Masur of CA; and a step-daughter Sherry Masur of AZ.
