Mary L Neasby (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Mary Louise Neasby was born July 3, 1932, near Lebanon, Missouri, and departed this life Wednesday, January 21, 2015, in Webco Manor, in Marshfield, Missouri, at the age of eighty-two years, six months, and eighteen days.
On August 12, 1950, she was united in marriage to Clifford Don Neasby, and to this union two sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her birth parents, Jake and Lucy Jane Stover Ricker; her adopted parents, Dee and Elva J. Floyd Lambeth; her husband, Don, on April 26, 1995; three brothers, Lloyd, Arthur, and Harry; and two sisters, Evelyn, and Dorothy.
Mary is survived by two sons, Mark Neasby, and his wife, Donna Kay, of Phillipsburg, Missouri, and Clifford Don Neasby, of Palm Desert, California; three grandchildren, Christi, Melissa, and Jerrah; four great-grandchildren, Hunter, Austin, Aleigh, and Kaylyn; a sister, Lois Woodall, of Nemo, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Lebanon area, and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1950. After she and Don were married, they made their home near Phillipsburg, except for a few years when they lived in the State of Washington, and lovingly raised their sons. Through the years, Mary was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family.
Mary had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Freewill Baptist Church, near Phillipsburg. She had also attended the Phillipsburg Presbyterian Church.
She volunteered with the American Red Cross for several years. In her spare time she enjoyed being outdoors where she liked fishing and hunting. She was an amateur photographer and loved taking pictures. She also liked working puzzles, listening to music, and caring for her home. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friend will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her eighty-two years.
A memorial has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
