Remembering my dear friend Carol as a wonderful, sincere, honest, funny and loving friend to me and to many. She helped me so much when I was undergoing chemo, teaching me more about nutrition and what to eat - while she was learning herself. We came to know the Lord about the same time - which made it easier for us to understand situations in our families and were able to pray together and see answers to prayer. We meet a few special people as we journeyed through the school bus industry and Carol was one certainly one. My memories of our professional and personal friendship are many and fond. Our prayers go out to her family.

I met Carol through work....she was my boss we worked at San Luis Coastal Unified. She encouraged and supported me as I became a bus driver trainer. She was my supervisor for a few short years but I called her friend for many more. As a supervisor, she was always positive, always encouraging and made everyone want to do their best and she was so darned much fun!! As a friend, I loved seeing her and hearing the stories of all her "adventures", comical and sad, and sharing laughter and tears. I am so blessed to have known her and I send sincere sympathy to her family with prayers for God's comfort and love.

My dear Aunt...so many of my childhood memories have you in them. Summer vacations at the farm, milking cows, your goats that I came to see have their babies. Since they didn't arrive before I left she made sure to send me pictures of the babies and write me a Letter all about it. Your memories will live on!

Carol Made a difference in so many people's lives. What a dear friend to me and my family. It is rare that you meet a person that can promote and motivate people to be the best they can be. The Rau family are truly giving and caring people. Gary and family our thoughts and prayers are with you. In the transportation industry Carol helped me grow and succeed. I praise God that I had the privilege of meeting and then knowing Carol and Gary and all of their family exactly five years ago! We were kindred spirits from the get go. We could talk milk cows, kids, natural medicine, and life for hours at a time. In fact, I think I remember having to be shushed a few times during life group! My day lit up whenever I happened to run into her unexpectedly and I truly loved her!
Carol was always real... totally free to be who God made her to be and she was awesome!
I can't believe she is gone and have spent most of every minute this week thinking and praying for her precious family left behind! But the most beautiful and encouraging thing of all is that I know and see the hope that is in every one of you that you/we will see her again! There is not a doubt in any of you and that is such a gift!
Carol was a giver and loved her family so much... don't think she was ever not doing for her family. Amazing woman of God; I know she blessed all of you!
