Mary Ruth Riley (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Mary Ruth Riley, daughter of Ronald and Mary Tietze West, was born December 14, 1971, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Monday, May 8, 2017, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of forty-five years, four months, and twenty-four days.
On January 23, 1993, she was united in marriage to Kermit Ray Riley, and they shared the last twenty-four years.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Francis and Ruth Tietze, Charles and Loie Bowers, and Howard West; a brother, Francis West; and a niece, Charlene Veronica West.
Mary Ruth is survived by her husband, Kermit, of the home; a daughter, Margaret Riley, of Marshfield, Missouri; three sons, Chris West, Aaron Riley, and Patrick Riley, all of Lebanon, Missouri; a grandson, Jensen West; a step-granddaughter, Coraline Nicol Lancaster; her parents, Ron and Mary West, of Lebanon, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in the Richland and Stoutland areas and graduated from Stoutland High School in the Class of 1990. After she and Kermit were married, they made their home in the Lebanon area and lovingly raised their children. Mary Ruth was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family through the years.
Mary Ruth had followed the Baptist faith throughout her life.
In her spare time she enjoyed watching television and particularly liked Net Flix. She also was an avid reader. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Mary Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
